Wafada Technic & Consult (WTC) currently in the contract of maintaining Mobile Container Scanner Machine (3345) which is owned by Royal Malaysian Customs whereby the contract encapsulates the job of maintenance and repairing. This contract also includes the maintenance and repairing of (7) seven units of Mercedes Benz vehicle, Model Actros 2640.

In beginning of 2006, WTC having forged a partnership with Malaysia Airports Berhad were involved in the process of upgrading scanner machines to fulfill the requirements of the latest technology.

In September 2006, WTC had organised a demonstration of Smiths-Heimann Mobile Container Scanner Machine for three months at the container port at north of Butterworth, Penang. This shows that WTC does not only focused on baggage scanner machines but also is prepared to supply scanners for container.

In 2007, WTC supplied German made Smiths-Heimann baggage scanners for the usage of Royal Malaysian Customs. Those machines were placed at each of the entry points for Malaysian-Thailand border. There are some scanners installed at few numbers of port especially in Sabah where there are ferries from Philippines and Indonesia. The purpose is for security and tax collection on goods.

WTC had taken drastic steps in ensuring the project of supplying Smith-Heimann scanners was a success. The entire technical workforce had undergone intensive training and the manufacturer of scanner machines had entrusted WTC to carry out the whole process of installation and maintenance of the machines at its factory.

WTC had successfully assemble the scanner machines locally. Therefore, Malaysia has benefited tremendously from the transfer of technology and at the same time created employment opportunities to local experts.

In order to maintain WTC's reputation, we have always worked closely with our clients to ensure the machines that are being supplied are always in good functioning condition. WTC had provided training to those who are involved in the process of using the baggage and containers scanner machines.

WTC has a good reputation and relationship with the supplier/manufacturer and has manpower who are well trained. WTC assures that it can give the best service and quality to its clients and suppliers.
